Fun weekend with Slinger Police!

On Saturday, we joined Slinger Community Library at Little Switzerland for the 'Touch-a-Truck' event, meeting lots of community members and having many great discussions.

Yesterday, Capt. Gullickson was honored to be invited to join the opening ceremonies of the ASA STARS National Tour Badger State 325 at Slinger Super Speedway and humbled by the kind words and support shown by racing fans, community members, and Speedway staff for "fathers in uniform" on Father's Day. Members of the Washington County, Wisconsin Sheriff's Office Honor Guard presented the colors during the opening ceremonies.

Later this week we will be teaming up with Slinger Parks, Recreation, and Forestry and Hartford Police Department for another amazing "Cops, Rods n' Reels" youth fishing event.

These are just a small snapshot of the many outstanding events that remind us of the wonderful partnerships we hold with our community and first responder partners. Thank you Slinger for your continued support, and for helping to make the Village such a tremendous place to live, work and visit!

Our department received a report of a Black Bear sighting in the Village earlier in the day. If you see the bear in the Village, please do not approach it, and contact the Police Department.

SAVE THE DATE - 2026 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!

Time to mark your calendars! Our annual National Night Out celebration is going to be hosted on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 from 5:30p - 8:30p at Breuer Park!

You can expect food, games, music, and tons of information about various resources and programs available around the Slinger Community. All while getting to know your local first responders, and getting up close looks of their vehicles!

We look forward to seeing everyone there.
