One of our brand new Type 6’s. We’re awaiting for its twin to be complete. We hope for them to be fully in service in the near future. You can also see our new logo on either door. 🚒🚨

We were able to obtain the slip-on tank for this Type 6 through the U.S. Department of the Interior Slip-on Tanker Pilot Program. As a small department, grants like this help out to expand our wildland firefighting capabilities.

The U.S. Department of the Interior is offering up to $20 million through the Slip-on Tanker Pilot Program to help expand local wildland firefighting capacity.

These grants help local governments purchase slip-on tanker units that can quickly convert trucks, UTVs, and other vehicles into wildland fire engines when they’re needed most.

Stronger local wildfire response means safer communities, better support for first responders, and reduced risk to critical infrastructure.
