So we have to say WOW!!!!
Even with the rain we still had a great turn out for our annual touch a truck!!! Thank you to everyone who braved the elements and came out to join us!!!
If everyone understood the hours of prep that goes into this from everyone who brings equipment you would probably be shocked. All the time it takes to load, unload, transport, clean, which is all paid back to everyone of us in smiles and “thank you’s”.
So this is the part where everyone gets a thank you and we will include the list below, BUT first we want to send out the most important thank you to Lorrie Rounsville!! Most of us know her as the long time librarian at the Hamlin Memorial Library. Without her this event never happens, 4 years ago we had this idea and we approached her to see about maybe using the Library, she immediately said yes, and every year she checks to make sure we are doing it again. This was the last year she will have to “check” with us as she is set to retire at the end of the month. So from all of us Thank You for everything Lorrie and the entire Library Board!
Now Thank you to everyone else who brings stuff and hangs out with us for the evening:

Lastly we would like to throw a shout out to two of our employees, Mike Tanner and Matt Dart, at the event a kid came in on a bicycle and he was having some “mechanical issues” our two employees grabbed some tools and helped the kid fix his bike. This summer has been full of events but it’s acts like these that remind us how great our community is!!
