Highway 87 and Farm Roads 3234 and 108, twenty-five miles south of Gonzales in southwestern Gonzales county.

The Gonzales County Senior Citizens Association, Inc. offers a Home Delivered Meal Program, providing five meals per week to approved participants throughout Gonzales County, including Gonzales, Smiley, Nixon, Leesville, Waelder, Harwood and surrounding areas.

📞 To apply, call 210-438-6208. Applications can be completed over the phone.

For questions about the meal program, call the Gonzales County Senior Citizens Association at 830-672-7014.

The water is back on in the area of Anglin and Roberts St. We continue to ask in your assistance to avoid driving in the area as the repairs have not been fully completed yet. Our utility department will be back out there tomorrow morning to continue the repairs that need to be made.

Here is the Texas Code when it comes to early voting:

Sec. 87.121. EARLY VOTING ROSTERS. (a) The early voting clerk shall maintain for each election a roster listing each person who votes an early voting ballot by personal appearance and a roster listing each person to whom an early voting ballot to be voted by mail is sent.

(b) For each person listed, the applicable roster must include:

the person's name, address, and voter registration number;

the date of voting or the date the ballot was mailed to the person, as applicable.

(c) Each roster shall be updated daily.

(i) The information under Subsections (g) and (h) must be made available:

(1) for an election in which the county clerk is the early voting clerk:

(A) on the publicly accessible Internet website of the county; or

(B) if the county does not maintain a website, on the bulletin board used for posting notice of meetings of the commissioners court;

It does not state that the city CANNOT post it on it's official page. After speaking with the county elections office we have removed a copy of the roster from our page. The information can still be located on or city website at smiley.texas.gov
