This includes: The Smith County Clerk's Office, Treasurer's Office, Appraiser's Office, Register of Deeds Office, District Court Office, County Attorney's Office, and Extension Office.

In a smaller town, dispatchers tend to wear many hats. They might know the streets by heart, recognize last names, or even understand local landmarks better than a GPS. That familiarity helps them respond quickly and efficiently, making sure help gets where it’s needed without delay.

Their role isn’t just about emergencies—it’s about communication and connection. They coordinate with police, fire, and medical teams, keep things organized, and make sure everyone stays informed. Just as importantly, they provide comfort, listening carefully and giving simple, clear instructions that help people feel less alone in difficult moments.
