Tania Covarrubias was just recently acknowledged by members of the East Fork Fire Protection District for going above and beyond. On August 6, 2025 East Fork Fire had a structure fire that was potentially going to turn into a wild land fire. Tania happen to be in the area and witnessed the event. She immediately jumped into action. She put her training and experience to work and volunteered to assist. Tania was able to secure a supply line to a hydrant which aided in containing the fire. Thank you, Tania for thinking outside the box and assisting our neighbors.

Did you know? April 19-25 is National Pediatric Transplant Week! Nationally, our goal is to end the pediatric transplant waiting list. Currently, there are more than 2,200 children waiting for a lifesaving transplant. Twenty-seven percent of children waiting for an organ transplant are under 5 years old. In 2025, 1,874 children received lifesaving transplants, matched from nearly 900 pediatric organ donors.

FIRE SERVICE TRIBUTE RIFLE.
