Well here it is ... the last day, not only of the 2020/21 school year, but also for Anna McCabe Elementary School.
First, a heart felt thank you to all of the faculty and staff for being such amazing educators to our children, they have learned so much from you both inside and outside the classrooms. To the students and families, thanks for the great run on PTO over the past 6 years at McCabe - it has been a wonderful experience getting to know the children and families that make up this amazing school. Thank you also to the Amazing moms and dads that have helped on PTO over my years at McCabe; Robyn Briar Williams , Heidi Lawton-Gelsomino, Kerri Rianna, Jenny Hannan, Brooke ( Randy Rossi ) Rossi, Jodie Shippee, Danielle Boucher , Lea Testa Maroney , Jennifer Cavanagh Trainor, Amanda Fafard, Missy Hogan, and the others I haven't named that came before my time, without you all, PTO just wouldn't have been the same! And a special shout out to Missy Hogan, aka Buddy the Cougar, who brought to life McCabe's mascot, bringing countless smiles and laughs to the student, parents, and faculty! Buddy will always hold a special place in the hearts of McCabe's families!
Good luck to McCabe Class of 2021 as they move on from Elementary School to Middle School, you all will achieve great things and I look forward to seeing you continue your success.
And finally, best of luck to the new Pleasant View Elementary School, Home of Sunny the Panda ... it will surely be wonderful!
