It's officially summer! (I know, not according to the calendar, but school is out soooo)

Tomorrow our Monday special will be loaded baked potato. A very large potato with taco meat, cheese, green onion and sour cream. $8

I'm still trying to walk the line on labor costs for the store. I swear, when I plan for 2 people for the lunch crowd, we don't need them and when I don't, we get slammed! Thank you for your patience during that time. I have awesome employees who genuinely love our customers and the mission of our business. We are lucky! It is helpful if you know you are going to be ordering a bunch (5 or more) sandwiches to call ahead.

Also, our new ice cream machine will be arriving tomorrow! I'm so excited! As soon as it is installed and functioning, I will let you know but we will have chocolate, vanilla and TWIST (my favorite) softserve cones! We will also be serving root beer floats (or whatever soda you want).

It's going to be a very busy week for us while we prep for Smithfield Day on Saturday. I'll have bread, muffins, brownies, and cookies ready to go. Our special that day will be grilled porkchop sandwiches with grilled corn on the cob and mac and cheese. $12.50 a plate or $7 sandwiches.

We will have grilled pork chop sandwiches, grilled corn on the cob and Mac and cheese on menu for Smithfield day. $12.50 for a plate $7 sandwich.

We will also have a few new flavors of dirty sodas and hopefully our ice cream machine will be ready with chocolate, vanilla and swirl soft serve.

I will have bread for sale that day and muffins and biscuit sandwiches for breakfast. We intend to open at 7 incase vendors and volunteers are looking for sustenance! Don't forget we have coffee both iced and hot 😋

We are open today and have lots of goodies. I forgot to mention the fresh baked cookies. We have chocolate chip, peanut butter and carnival (mms and chocolate chip)

Good morning! It's been a slow week at the store so we've been baking up a storm. I have bread, muffins, sourdough brownies (the ones sampled last weekend), and cookies! We have biscuits and gravy this morning and breakfast sandwiches!
