Great day of training yesterday. It was wet and muddy but emergencies don’t always occur when it’s 70 degrees and sunny. We were able to get some real world experience in a controlled environment. Water supply provided by tanker shuttle and use of drop tanks. Thanks to our partners Princeton Volunteer Fire Department, NC, Smithfield Fire Department, and Kenly Fire Department for their assistance and participation.

Training Exercise!!! Tomorrow and Saturday morning we will be conducting live burn training exercises near 8518 Brogden Rd. Please use caution when traveling in this area as fire apparatus and personnel will be present.

We’re running a Super Bowl Squares Pool to raise money for Firefighter John Holland and his family. All proceeds go directly to them.

John had to have upper spinal surgery at the base of his skull. After several weeks post surgery, John started experiencing problems with his surgical site. John was in the hospital for several weeks and required another surgery as part of his care. With all of this said we would like to help lessen the burden on his wife and children (3).

💵 Squares are $50 each

➡️ Numbers will be randomly assigned once the board fills.

🏆 Winners will be paid after each quarter and the final game score.

As the sun goes down, the temperatures will also – making roads treacherous overnight.

Emergency crews have responded to 14 motor vehicle accidents between 6pm yesterday and 4pm today. DON'T add to this statistic.

Stay home, if possible. Leave the roads to the plows and first responders.
