Looking for a unique way to serve your community, gain valuable work experience, and earn money? Become a Student Election Assistant and be part of the team that helps make Election Day a success!

As a Student Election Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced precinct officials, assist voters, and gain firsthand experience with the election process – all while building leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Precinct Officials play an important role in assisting voters, operating polling places, and protecting the integrity of the election process.

Our team is at the Public Library of Johnston County & Smithfield today from 10 a.m. - Noon. to help eligible voters obtain a free Voter Photo ID.

The process is quick and easy - just stop by! Bring a friend or family member who may also need a voter photo ID.

We will be at the Public Library of Johnston County & Smithfield on Friday, August 14th from 10 a.m. – Noon. Stop by and let our staff assist you with obtaining a free voter photo ID.

If you can’t make it, you can also visit our office during normal business hours.
