We are deeply saddened by the passing of former State Representative and Johnston County Commissioner J.H. Langdon.

J.H. dedicated his life to serving others — whether in the classroom as an agriculture teacher, in local government, or in the North Carolina General Assembly. His steady leadership and commitment to our community made a lasting impact.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the many students whose lives he helped shape.

Johnston County has lost a true public servant.
