On behalf of the Quiyoughcohannock and Warraskoyack Indian Tribes, I want to thank everyone for coming out, engaging in healthy dialog, and participating in the Matoaka Covenant, Indigenous Convocation, entitled, "We Are All Related!" The event was held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Chanco on the James, in collaboration with the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia! Thank you for those who traveled from the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and West Virginia to participate in this historical event. Special thanks to my Claggett family members who came out and was recognized for our family legacy contributions within the Episcopal Denomination.
