Johnston County Schools (JCS) uses Facebook to share important information with our public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

•Open conversation – not personal issues or complaints about students and/or school personnel. This page is not intended to circumvent regula

r communication channels for sharing personal issues and concerns, including personnel matters and student concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school, student or a staff member will be removed.
•Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Running for a political office? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our district, schools and activities.
•Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students of JCS. Let’s keep the conversation related to our district, schools and activities. Comments of all kinds are welcome so long as they directly relate to our district, schools and activities.
•Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page.
•Be aware of the mission. The mission of JCS is education. Please be certain that your comments and posts are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.
•Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted.
•Employees of JCS may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.
•This page is yours and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about JCS, schools or activities. However, abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our page. Johnston County Schools uses Facebook native archiving platform. Our NCDPI School Accountability Results for the 2025-2026 School Year have come in...

And we've met growth, and we earned a performance grade of a B!

We would like to thank our students, staff, and families for their incredible efforts during the last school year. Our teachers are doing outstanding work and deserve recognition for their dedication. Our students and their families are equally committed to their growth and learning. We already know that we’re achieving great things at Innovation every single day, and this report confirms that.

It was a morning of big smiles and happy tears today as our entire school family said a bittersweet farewell to Mrs. Patton. From the first morning bell to the final dismissal, she has been the absolute heart and spirit of Innovation Academy. Day in and day out, Mrs. Patton showed up with empathy, fierce dedication, and a work ethic second to none. She taught our school community what it truly means to lead with compassion, face challenges head-on, and live out the Pioneer spirit.

Mrs. Patton, thank you for leaving such a lasting mark on Innovation. We will miss you immensely, but we wish you all the best on your next chapter!
