Troop 7 joined with Troops 490G, Boy Scout Troop 490 Virginia Beach, VA and Troop 8 to complete the Geocaching merit badge at Windsor Castle Park this past Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations to our Smithfield High graduating seniors Grayson Canada, Aidan Kerr, Henry Hinkle, Ewan Kucha, Landen Rodriguez, Landen Yates and Jack Wesdock! All of them were honored tonight for their academic achievement, scholarship, and civic service.

Huge progress on the Nike-Ajax missile mural atop Magazine B at Carrollton-Nike Park/Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation! And it looks amazing.

Stop by for a visit to envision how these missiles would have appeared as they emerged from below via elevator, and plan to attend our next Cold War Defense: Carrollton-Nike Park Walking Tour on May 16.

🗣️Looking to get more involved in Scouting? This is a great opportunity for parents to learn, grow, and support our youth!

We’re offering training opportunities for parents who want to better understand the program and take a more active role.

Have a Scout in a troop? They can step up as leaders too! After completing Den Chief Training, troop-level Scouts can serve as Den Chiefs, mentoring younger Scouts and building leadership skills along the way.

Congratulations to Aidan Kerr on earning his Eagle Scout! Aidan restored and refurbished the fence and surrounding areas of the Dickinson family plot at St. Luke's Historic Church & Museum as his project.
