Please come out and join us this evening!

The weather looks great, and it appears we will have one or two food vendors on site as well.

We would love to see everyone come out, enjoy the evening, support our local vendors, and spend some time with friends and neighbors.

Hope to see you there!

🚧📶 CELL TOWER UPDATE 📶🚧

The new cell tower near Armstrong Road, west of Smithland, is now ACTIVE. This tower is currently serving Verizon customers only at this time.

I was also advised by a Verizon technician that the Burna tower, located near Mitchell Loop, will soon be upgraded to 5G service within the next few weeks. They advised the upgrade should not negatively affect current signal strength during the process.

📱 AT&T / FirstNet Users:

In the near future, I will be sending information specifically to First Responders who currently have, or may be eligible for, FirstNet service.

For those unfamiliar, FirstNet is the federally authorized public safety communications network built in partnership with AT&T and designed specifically for First Responders and emergency personnel.

The goal will be for eligible users to participate in a survey and identify areas throughout Livingston County where AT&T coverage issues still exist. By documenting weak-signal and dead-zone areas, we hope to draw additional attention to locations that need improvement and continue pushing for better communication coverage across our county.

Reliable communication is important not only for convenience, but for public safety as well. We will continue working with providers and partners to improve coverage throughout Livingston County.
