The monthly Friends of the Library meeting for August has been canceled.

We had a wonderful day at Sugar Creek Flower Farm and Craftery and want to thank everyone who visited us! Congratulations to our giveaway winner, Jill Story!

We still have lots of Blind Date With A Book available so visit the Livingston County Public Library at 321 Court Street in Smithland, KY if you would like to purchase one. Our wonderful library staff also offers the option for you to provide your own book and they will wrap and decorate it for a small donation!

Don't forget that the Book Drop is OPEN in Smithland and we also have a book drop inside Glenn's Prescription Center in Salem during their business hours. Happy Reading!

Information regarding events and other great things happening in Livingston County!

The Livingston County Friends of the Library is seeking book donations that are current, gently used and in good to excellent condition.

We specifically need adult fiction, young adult fiction, junior, and children categories.

We cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, dictionaries, reference materials, outdated series, how-to books, audio books, cassette tapes, or magazines.

While we appreciate your donations, we also cannot accept, old, yellowed, musty books.

Please do not place your donations in the book drop located outside the county office building; it is for library materials only as per library policy.
