Smithton’s American Legion and volunteer fire department are joining forces to put on a community street fair on July 13 that will feature a free concert by local country artist Chris Higbee. The outdoor concert, tentatively set for 7:30 p.m., is part of an enhanced fair the two organizations are

A very special thank you to our American Legion Family: Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders and Auxiliary, for all of your help to make our first cash bash with the Smithton Volunteer Fire Department a huge success!

Our portion of the proceeds will directly benefit our 3rd annual Veteran's Day dinner (November 9, 2019) and also our 100-year on July 13, 2019.

The Fallen Veterans Ride Aug 11th 2018 was a great success with Riders from several different American Legions participating for a great cause. Special thanks to the Glassport Police Department for the es**rt into town, Glassport American Legion, Charleroi American Legion for providing a great lunch,West Brownsville American Legion, Perryopolis VFW and the Smithton American Legion Ladies Auxilary for the dinner and entertainment upon our return. These places were so welcoming and hospitable they truly know the meaning of Family.
