Join us for our FREE 7-week Adaptive Sports Program for children in grades K–12. This program is designed for children with various disabilities who may experience higher barriers to participation in sports and socialization opportunities.

Participants will have the opportunity to play, explore, and learn a variety of sports in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. The program helps build confidence, teamwork, social skills, and a love for staying active while ensuring every child feels encouraged and successful. No experience necessary — just come ready to have fun.

This Spring Break, the Smithtown Youth Bureau is hosting Mad Scientist: Project Pucker, a free, hands-on science experience designed to spark curiosity and get kids thinking.
Two sessions are available:
April 7 for Grades K–2
April 8 for Grades 3–5
Both run from 11 AM to 12 PM at 161 East Main Street in Smithtown.

Sunday, June 7, 2026. Volunteers will assist with face painting, temporary tattoos, and prize giveaways to help make the event fun and memorable for the community.
Two shifts are available:
9:00 AM–12:30 PM
12:30 PM–4:00 PM
volunteers may sign up for one or both shifts.

Volunteers should meet at the Horizons Building, 161 E. Main St., Smithtown, NY 11787.
