We’re clearing the air about Natural Gas Ranges! Electric cooking is not more efficient and does not use less energy than natural gas.

In fact, direct use of natural gas is two times more efficient than electricity, if you look at the whole energy picture and not just end-use appliance efficiency. Generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity results in a LOSS of approximately 70% of the energy vs. an approximate loss of only 8% to distribute natural gas to customers.
