Good evening Dekalb county,

Here at the shelter we are working hard to provide a safe, clean, and supportive space for those in need—and we can’t do it without our community.

We are currently in need of the following items:
🧻 Paper towels
🧴 Toilet bowl cleaner
🍽 Non-styrofoam plates
💧 Bottled water
🐟 Tuna packs
🥫 Vienna sausages
🥨 Snacks without nuts

Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

We had a nice little run of warmer weather but back to winter for a bit. That bit of snow today sure is pretty.

We will be open for overnight warming tonight and tomorrow night. We will monitor the weather closely for later days.

Good evening everyone,

We hope you are all staying warm in this weather. The shelter will be open for overnight warming through friday night February 6th.

We want to say an extra special thank you to everyone for the extra help with more meals, daytime openings, and hvac issues. The volunteers have been working overtime in this weather, thank you all so so much we really appreciate each and everyone of you.
