🐱Another successful day camp in the books! 🐶

We learned all about the many tasks Veterinarians do each day.
We prepped ourselves for surgery (on bananas), learned how to do sutures and splint broken bones (on Hannah Mootana and her friends) and look at samples under a microscope!

👀 Here’s something fun and exciting going on during DCS Spring break!

Join us for a Veterinary Science Day Camp! 🐶

We will learn what being a veterinarian is all about!

This day camp will be March 25th 9:00 am- 2:00pm in the UT Room of the Dekalb County Complex.

🍀 Open to all 4-H members in 4th-12th grade. 🍀

💵Looking for a creative way to save money? 💵

🐷It’s time again for our annual Piggy Bank Pageant! 🐷

How to enter:
1. Create a one of a kind piggy bank! It can be anything you want!
2. Piggy bank must have a way to get money in and out of it without breaking it open.
3. Take pictures of all angles of piggy bank.
4. Email piggy bank pictures to Mrs. Brooklynn at [email protected] along with your name, grade, and phone number by March 25th!!

🍀 So excited to announce our traditional and digital poster winners for DeKalb County! Congratulations to all of these students!! Our Traditonal poster county 1st place winner’s poster will be on display at this year’s Tennessee State Fair in Wilson County this summer! 🥳 We had a total of 100 posters turned in across the county from 4th-6th grade students and we would like to also congratulate all our participants! 🥳

The Tennessee Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee is excited to host a State Digital Design Contest in 2026. Students are challenged to create a digital design featuring one of Tennessee’s top 10 commodities and include 3–5 accurate ag facts. It’s a creative way to grow agricultural literacy and showcase the impact of agriculture across our state!
