Thank you for the support over the past several months. Though the end result wasn't what I had hoped for- I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to meet many people, make lifelong friends and share my vision- hopefully some of my ideas will be implemented for a better DeKalb County. I congratulated Mayor- Elect Stribling Thursday night and wish him all the best as he begins his efforts to address the many issues facing our county. I truly enjoyed joining our community in prayer for a great and safe school year for the students and faculty of our schools. I wish every student a great and fun year and will continue to pray for them throughout the year- additionally, as Mayor, I'll make education a priority and work tirelessly to make our school system one of the best!

Members of the community turned out Sunday afternoon to join in a special "Prayer Service for Schools" observance at the DeKalb County High School gym.

Early voting has now ended, thank you to all who have participated. My team and I will now remain busy continuing our door-to-door efforts up until Election Day.
