The Smyrna Fire Department would like to thank our mutual aid departments and our members for their hard work and dedication provided during our busy and difficult weekend. we responded to 7 calls over a period of 36 hours, some which resulted in seriously difficult outcomes. Without the dedication of all these hardworking volunteers the outcome could have been even worse. Thank you again.

Our new SCBA filling station was put into service yesterday. A huge thank you goes out to Sherman Air Services for the delivery and instal of the new unit!

Installed a containment fill station, electric booster pump and 6000 psi storage cylinders for Smyrna Volunteer Fire Department!
Thank you for your trust in Sherman Air Services LLC for your breathing air needs.

This system will make filling 4500 scba cylinders safer and allow more fills from static storage.
The booster pump is able to boost air that is below the equalization pressure (below 4500) up to 4500psi, topping off the scba.
