Smyrna Sister City Exchange Program Our goal is to establish meaningful and lasting global friendships, partnerships, and connections. This page is for and about the citizens of Smyrna TN.

It is for the students and parents of those involved in the program and for those who have been involved in the past. Please feel free to share our status updates and pictures. Please feel free to ask your friends to LIKE our page. We are looking for students to participate as ambassadors for our town and travel to Zama as such and to host a Japanese Student in return. A heartfelt thank you to Amy and Rick Wise for donating this incredible Emergency Supply Kit for our Chili Supper & Silent Auction. It is fully stocked with essentials, including everything shown in the photo and more. This is the perfect “just in case” bundle for any household.

Amy has been involved in the Sister City program for many years. She is currently serving on the committee. She traveled to Zama in 2025 with our students and continues to give her time, energy, and support to help the program thrive. We are truly grateful for her commitment and the steady partnership that keeps our Sister City program running smoothly.
