Every Friday, we come together for Flag Friday—a time to celebrate our flag, listen to music, dance, get a little silly, and start our day with LOTS of smiles!
It’s also a special opportunity for our student leaders to take the lead and give the morning announcements to their fellow students. We love giving our kiddos opportunities to build confidence, use their voices, and be leaders within their school community.
And, of course, no Flag Friday would be complete without everyone finding a fun way to greet Ms. Bowman on the way in!
It’s a simple tradition that brings our whole school together and reminds us that school is about more than academics—it’s about community, leadership, connection, and JOY!

📣 Smart Savings Card / City Saver Fundraiser Reminder!

Our first round of Smart Savings Card/City Saver turn-ins is tomorrow!

If you have sold any cards so far, please send your order form along with any cash, checks, or online payment information to school with your child. Turn everything in to your child’s teacher, and we will get the cards they sold sent home with them.

💚 You have until September 11th to keep selling!

We will collect orders every Friday, so you do not have to wait until the end of the fundraiser to turn them in. Just send in what you have sold each Friday, and we will get your cards to you so you can deliver them.

At The Empower Academy, our students aren’t just names on a roster. They’re known—their personalities, their strengths, the things that make them laugh, the areas where they need a little extra encouragement, and the dreams they’re beginning to discover.

And our families aren’t just dropping their children off at school each morning. They’re part of the story we’re building.

We get to watch friendships continue year after year, celebrate milestones together, and see children grow in confidence as they realize this is their school and their community.

Each Smart Savings Card/ City Saver is $25 and is packed with over $750 in savings at restaurants and businesses throughout Rutherford County and surrounding areas!

⭐ Students can earn prizes as they sell!

Sell 1 card – earn prizes!
Sell 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 25, or 50 cards to earn even more prizes.
Prizes add up as students reach each level!
Parents can earn up to 2 FREE Smart Savings Cards ($50 value)!

There’s something special about being part of a small school.

It means walking in each morning and seeing familiar faces. It means growing up alongside your best friends—not just for one school year, but year after year.

There’s something special about walking into school with your head held high, a smile on your face, and knowing you’re ready to take on the day.

We want our students to grow not only academically, but also into confident, capable young people who believe in themselves.
