As a longtime partner, Carrier continues to demonstrate its commitment to helping us build homes, communities, and hope. Yesterday, their volunteers helped organize, sort, and restock merchandise throughout the store, creating a more welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Every volunteer hour helps support the ReStore’s mission, with proceeds from donated and purchased items helping Habitat NWMA build and preserve affordable housing across Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding counties.

Build Week 4 was a success!

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers from Capital City Bank, Clark Construction Group, Lifters of Men, and everyone who came out on-site this week to help move this home even closer to completion. What made this week even more special was that Luis’ uncle traveled from out of state to roll up his sleeves and help.💙

A special shout-out to Capital City Bank, who brought out a team and also provided a grilled lunch from their food trailer. Capital City Home Loans has also been a strong partner of Habitat in assisting qualified homebuyers to secure a conventional mortgage loan, with down payment assistance from Habitat NWMA.

It is through partnerships like this that we are able to keep moving forward together, building homes, communities, and hope.

Just last week, our CEO, Kyle Huhtanen, had the opportunity to attend Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity's open house for the Vernon Street Neighborhood, which will be home to 13 affordable housing units in Gwinnett County. 🏡

Wonderful spending time with Gwinnett-Walton CEO Eric Miller and team. Touring the new home and seeing the neighborhood under construction was both exciting and inspiring; this is truly energizing work that is truly making a difference.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with and support partners across the Georgia Habitat region and celebrate the collective impact in addressing the affordable housing crisis.
