Smyrna, TN Parks and Recreation Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department's mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents.

The Smyrna Parks Department consists of more than 800 acres of property dedicated to recreation and leisure activities. We have ten public parks, twelve miles of trails and greenways, numerous athletic fields, a public pool, splash pad, multiple practice areas and green space. We also have three buildings that are available to rent for your special event: Rosenwald Community Center, Assembly Hall,

and the Smyrna Train Depot. Our Administration staff handles the daily office duties and facility rentals. The Athletics Office oversees our popular local athletic leagues while also coordinating various community events and programs. Park Maintenance staff performs daily maintenance operations as well as engages in numerous park projects throughout the year. The mission of the Parks Department is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of the Smyrna Community by providing a variety of recreational programs, wellness programs, and both passive and active park facilities. The Town of Smyrna operates our social media accounts as a designated public forum. SAVE THE DATE!
The annual Depot District BBQ Fest will take place on Saturday, August 8th, at 6 PM.

Join us for an evening of live music featuring the Robert Anthony Band, as well as more than fifteen BBQ and dessert food trucks. There will also be games for the whole family to enjoy.

Don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite BBQ, as we will be giving out some exciting awards!

A Pool Party is the perfect way for your family to celebrate the 4th of July!
We will be partying all day at the SplashTown Pool with a live DJ, silly games, great prizes, and, of course, delicious food from the Smyrna Event Center snack bar.

Let's all cross our fingers for good weather and plan to spend the day having fun and cooling off in the pool!

The Smyrna Parks and Recreation Office will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
All parks, the Gregory Mill Splashpad, and Splashtown will remain open.
The Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.
