Our hearts hurt to lose such a wonderful woman. Her contributions to not just the music industry but for helping those struggling are legendary. We honor her memory by remembering all the good she accomplished.

Dolly's candidness about her mental health struggles in conversations with Today and shared by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention helped to open much needed conversations around the stigma of asking for help.

Cherish her memory. Continue her advocacy. Reach out to those struggling.

Help is available, and reaching out can save a life. Call or Text 988 – Su***de & Crisis Lifeline (24/7)

PARENT MATH:
“They’re only going to be gone for 2 hours.”
“It’s just a few friends.”
“They know better.”
= Maybe I should check the house anyway.

Parents, we know. You're busy. You're juggling work, school schedules, sports, practices, dinner, laundry and approximately 47 other things. But a quick check of what's accessible in your home can take less than five minutes.

Five minutes of prevention can be worth a whole lot more later.

You don't have to pretend you're okay if you're not. Talk about it. Reach out. Give yourself a chance.

Busy schedules can lead to overlooked habits.

As you prep for fall activities, make SAFE HOME practices part of your routine:
• Lock up alcohol.
• Secure medications and other substances.
• Create an environment where support, hope, and help are always within reach.

Prevention doesn't have to be complicated—it starts with intentional choices.
