Give Yourself a Chance The peer pressure to drink is real, but so are the consequences. What are you doing to give yourself

In every school in every community in Georgia, underage drinking has become a widespread health and safety problem. The consequences are serious, so don’t become a part of these statistics. Give yourself a chance to achieve your goals by saying NO to underage and binge drinking.

Destiny and Elijah were supposed to have so many more years together.

More birthdays. More family memories. More time watching their little girl grow up.

But now, at just 2 years old, their daughter has lost her daddy.

Last week, Elijah experienced a devastating mental health crisis and suffered serious injuries.

Doctors worked for days to save his life, but tragically, he passed away.

He leaves behind his wife and their little girl, who deserved so much more time with her dad.

There are no easy words for a loss like this.

But there is something important about sharing Elijah's story.

Mental health crises can affect families in heartbreaking ways.

Behind every tragedy are people who are grieving, who have questions that may never be answered, and who deserve compassion rather than judgment.

Right now, Destiny and her little girl need to be surrounded by kindness.

If anyone knows of organizations or resources that support young widows and children who have lost a parent, please share them.

And please send some extra love to Destiny and her daughter as they navigate the days ahead.

Elijah's life was so much more than the circumstances of his death.

He was a husband, a father, and someone whose absence will be felt every day.

**If you or someone you love is struggling with a mental health crisis, please know that help is available. Call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Our hearts hurt to lose such a wonderful woman. Her contributions to not just the music industry but for helping those struggling are legendary. We honor her memory by remembering all the good she accomplished.

Dolly's candidness about her mental health struggles in conversations with Today and shared by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention helped to open much needed conversations around the stigma of asking for help.

Cherish her memory. Continue her advocacy. Reach out to those struggling.

Help is available, and reaching out can save a life. Call or Text 988 – Su***de & Crisis Lifeline (24/7)

Busy schedules can lead to overlooked habits.

As you prep for fall activities, make SAFE HOME practices part of your routine:
• Lock up alcohol.
• Secure medications and other substances.
• Create an environment where support, hope, and help are always within reach.

Prevention doesn't have to be complicated—it starts with intentional choices.
