Subject: You're Invited: Open House at the County Elections Office
Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections invites you to our Elections Information Open House, an interactive event designed to help residents, businesses, visitors, and stakeholders learn more about voting and how Gwinnett County administers elections.
The open house will be held the first weekend of October on Saturday, October 3 from 10:00am to 1:00pm and Sunday, October 4 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building, located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200 Lawrenceville, GA 30046. We look forward to seeing you! Please RSVP to this e-mail.
Whether you are a first-time voter, a longtime voter, or simply interested in learning more about the election process, we invite you to stop by, ask questions, and see the process firsthand.
During the open house, you can visit interactive education stations and learn about:
- In-person and absentee voting
- Checking your voter registration
- Finding your polling location
- Provisional voting
- Sample ballots
- Election data and information
- Logic and accuracy testing of voting equipment
- What happens at Election Central
- How votes are cast and processed
The open house provides clear, accessible information about the voting process and gives the public a closer look at how Gwinnett County administers elections. We hope you will join us and learn more about the people, processes, and systems behind elections in Gwinnett County.
Also, remember that the voter registration deadline for the November 3 General Election and Special Election is Monday,
October 5. Please make a plan to register to vote.
