It’s National Aviation Day! 🚁

Today, we celebrate the incredible world of aviation and the dedicated professionals who make every flight possible. From our pilots, flight nurses, flight paramedics and mechanics to the communication specialists, first responders and hospital teams who work alongside us—each person plays an important role in helping us provide lifesaving care when every minute matters.

We are proud to serve Snellville and the surrounding communities, and we are honored to take to the skies for those who need us most.

🚨NEW WINGS ALERT🚨

Flight Paramedic Theresa Cuevas recently completed her 50th safe patient flight. Theresa brings the calm to the chaos, and we are so lucky to have her on our team. Congrats Theresa!

AEL 117 is spending the week in Walton County with various agencies for active shooter training at Youth Middle School. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate and serve alongside our community partners.

Please help us in recognizing and congratulating Ebie, one of our flight nurses, as she has passed her CFRN! The first year of working in this environment can be tough, challenging, and uncomfortable! Ebie has brought much talent, skills, and clinical knowledge to 117! Certification exams are difficult and stressful but Ebie excelled and is now a certified flight nurse! A lot of hard work has gone in to her first year as a flight nurse and she is continually advocating for her patients and ever learning and seeking out education! Congrats, Ebie! So very proud of you! 🫶🏼❤️

American Medical Response (AMR), in partnership with Barrow County, officially celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of its new Barrow County EMS facility located in Winder, Georgia on June 23.

Air Evac Lifeteam 117 (along with Cinnamon) was in attendance in support of our GMR partners.

We are so excited for our friends at AMR and can’t wait to see the incredible things they do for the Barrow County community.
