RaeLynn has told me since the day we got Magnolia that she was her cow not mine. She has then claimed her calves as hers as well and named them ( last year was Pie Dog).
She told me today “don’t worry she won’t hurt me, I’m going to go pet her new baby”… I said “ if she comes at you, you better run fast”
Sure enough she walks right up to them both and sits down and cuddles with him and momma doesn’t mind sharing.
As soon as I start to get closer she mooooos
Guess RaeLynn is correct and that is her cow.

Magnolia is still holding on to her calf but we did have a few others this week! A little gray one, a brockle-face one, and all black one. The little brockle-face guy was born as close to my back yard as you could get without stepping over the fence! Momma was so loud and I peaked out the window and there was the little guy! I don’t think she was to happy the horse and dog were wanting to check him out.
