Machias Parent-Teacher Group (Machias PTG) - Families and staff working together to make school a place where our kids want to be!

The Machias Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) is a group of parents providing support for our school through fundraising and volunteering. The PTG raises money to provide: Family Events, Educational Opportunities, Staff & Classroom Support, New Technology, School Improvements, and Fun Stuff.

🐾 Bobcat Bingo Needs YOU! 💙

Bobcat Bingo is coming up on October 1, and we’re still looking for an Event Coordinator to help make the night happen!

If you love bringing people together, enjoy planning events, or have been looking for a way to get involved with the PTG, this could be a great opportunity. You’ll have support from the PTG along the way — you won’t be doing it alone!

💙🐾 A little back-to-school love for our Machias teachers & staff! 🐾💙

Before our Bobcats headed back to the classroom, the PTG made sure our amazing teachers and staff had a few goodies of their own waiting for them!

We put together some Back-to-School Fuel with plenty of snacks to help kick off the new year, plus a little Bobcat treat just for them. ✏️📓

Our teachers and staff give SO much to our students throughout the year, and we’re always happy for an opportunity to show them just how much they’re appreciated. 💙

💙 Interested in getting involved at Machias? Come hang out with us!

Our Volunteer Gathering is coming up on Tuesday, September 15th at 6PM in the Machias Elementary Commons! 🐾

Whether you already know you’d like to volunteer or you’re just curious about what opportunities are available, this is a great place to start. We’ll chat about the different ways you can volunteer with the PTG throughout the year—from helping at events to smaller, behind-the-scenes opportunities.

🏫 We’ll also offer an optional tour of the school for anyone who would like one.

And one of the best parts? You’ll get a chance to meet other Machias parents and guardians who are interested in getting involved, too! 💙

Our first PTG meeting of the year will follow the gathering, and anyone who would like to stay is welcome—but there’s absolutely no obligation.

Come learn a little more, meet some new people, and find out what volunteering with the PTG can look like for you. We’d love to see you there! 🐾💙
