As the weather gets nicer, our trails get busier. Thanks to Sky Valley Singletrack for creating this awesome graphic on how mountain bikes should yield to equestrian riders at multi-use parks like Lord Hill Regional Park and Paradise Valley Conservation Area.

βœ” Step 1: Stop! Pull over on the low side of the trail in a spot where the horse can easily see you.

βœ” Step 2: Communicate! Speak up and listen on how to handle passing. When approaching from behind, call our early and ask how to pass.

βœ” Step 3: Ride on! Give it a couple bike lengths and then slowly start back up before getting back into the groove!
