It was so wonderful seeing our Ravens today at Meet the Teacher!

We loved seeing so many smiling faces, meeting new families, seeing our playground full and getting ready for the school year.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Tuesday for our first day of school.

Today we welcomed back our amazing Totem Falls staff back to school!

Our halls are coming back to life, and there is so much excitement as we prepare to welcome our Ravens! We spent the day reconnecting, learning together, and getting ready for another SOARing year.

We are so grateful for the heart, energy, and dedication our staff brings to Totem Falls.

It was a great last day of school! We had so much fun during our parade and end-of-year assembly. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and support our students.

We kicked off our end-of-year festivities with Field Day today! Students had a great time participating in obstacle courses, tug-of-war, capture the flag, and many other activities. A special thank you to our 6th graders, Mr. Carter, and Mr. Bates for helping to put everything together.

Tomorrow, we will celebrate our 6th graders during their promotion ceremony at 9:00 a.m.

Friday, June 12, is our last day of school. We will kick off the day with our End-of-Year Parade at 9:05 a.m. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Colleen Rentko, our next Golden Raven!

Colleen was nominated by Emily Muniz who said, “I am honored to nominate Ms. Colleen Rentko for the Golden Raven. Having worked alongside her for nearly my entire career, I can honestly say that she has had a profound impact on my professional growth and my understanding of what it truly means to be part of a team.

Colleen taught me that being part of a team is about showing up for one another and celebrating successes together. Her willingness to share her knowledge and experience has made countless colleagues, including myself, stronger educators.

One of her greatest gifts is her ability to bring light and humor to even the busiest and most challenging days. Colleen has a remarkable way of making those around her feel valued, supported, and appreciated. Whether through a well-timed joke, a thoughtful gesture, or simply her presence.

Most importantly, she cares deeply about every person she encounters. She invests in her relationships with students, families, and colleagues. She always strives to make others feel seen and supported. Her compassion and care leave a lasting impression on everyone, fortunate enough to work with her.

Colleen is not only an exceptional colleague but also an extraordinary person whose impact reaches far beyond the classroom. I can’t think of no one more deserving of this recognition.”

Today we welcomed back our Raven alumni who are graduating from Glacier Peak High School this year! We cheered them on as they walked through the building and enjoyed spending time with them at recess. Congratulations, graduates—we are so proud of you! Once a Raven, always a Raven!

Congratulations to Emily Muniz, our next Golden Raven!

Emily was nominated by Emily Dittoe who shared the following, “Getting to share a name with Ms. Emily is such an honor, but getting to work alongside her is a true privilege. Ms. Emily is the kind of teacher every parent hopes their child gets and every teacher hopes to have as a colleague. She goes out of her way every single day to support her students, families, and staff here at Totem Falls. Any student lucky enough to be in her classroom makes tremendous progress because she creates an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and capable of success. Her dynamic teaching style meets a wide variety of learning needs, and her creativity shines in everything she does. From her daily lessons to the staff events she helps put on through the Sunshine Committee, she truly does it all! Ms. Emily is the best of the best, and I feel so lucky to work alongside her and learn from her every day.”

Today, our Ravens enjoyed the "Secrets of Wizards" magician assembly! Students were amazed by the fun tricks, interactive performances, and magical surprises throughout the show. A huge thank you to the Totem Falls PTO for supporting this assembly as one of our Walk-A-Thon prizes—it was a fantastic experience for everyone!
