In recognition of National Naloxone (Narcan) Awareness Day on June 6, we encourage all residents to get a free Narcan kit and learn how to use it — because in an opioid overdose, every second counts.
𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐧 — 𝐍𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐝
Narcan nasal spray is available free of charge to all Snoqualmie residents in two easy ways:
• Pick it up at the Snoqualmie Fire Department, 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway — no questions asked, no limit on quantity.
• Have it delivered to your home at no cost: phra.org/naloxone

The Snoqualmie Fire Department offers a free Opioid Education and Narcan Training class open to the public, designed to help teens and parents understand the dangers of opioids and how to recognize and reverse an overdose.

Deaths from opioids and synthetic opioids like fentanyl continue at an alarming rate in Washington State. Opioid overdoses can happen to anyone — through medication confusion, post-surgical dependency, recreational drug use, long-term dependency, or street drugs laced with fentanyl.
𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐬𝐞
If you witness someone experiencing any of these symptoms, act immediately:
• Pinpoint pupils that don't respond to light
• Unresponsiveness — can't be awakened
• Slowed or stopped breathing
• Cold, clammy skin
• Blue or purple lips or nails
• Gurgling or snoring sounds
