Interested in being part of the GCMS Parent Organization and partnering with GCMS staff to support all students? We would love to have you involved! Please mark your calendar to attend our Title I Informational Session and GCMS Parent Organization Meeting. See the attached image for meeting details. About 6 years ago students in Mr. Lococo’s 8th Grade World History Class began reading Eleven by Tom Rogers as part of our teachings about 9/11. Throughout the last few years it’s continued with last year Mrs. Brennans 6th grade ELA class. Recently the author asked for quotes to be part of the 25th Anniversary edition and 2 of our Students and Mr.Lococo and Mrs. Brennan were featured in it. Today we received those books and presented them to the students to keep. Great Job Ladies!

Due to the chance of severe weather, Football practice at the Middle School has been canceled for today. We will see everybody Monday after school until about 6 o’clock. We will have a parent meeting after practice.

8th Grade Parents! If your child is scheduled to take English 1, Math 1, or STEM Robotics 1, or CTE Robotics 1, there will be a brief Important Parent Meeting in the Media Center during open house at 3:30 and 5:30. If you are not able to make it to one of those times, we will also be sending out the information to all those parents. If you have any questions, please see Dr. Cook or Mr. Lococo.
