Juneteenth Schedule for Friday, June 14th, Bring your children out for a day of fun activities, bouncer houses, face painting, balloon twisting, food and enjoyment. Resourceful Communities will provide:
Join The Conservation Fund/Resourceful Communities at our environmental exploration table! From coloring to matching games and science experiments, we will have something for everyone. Activities include:

· Coloring pages

· Exploration journals

· Nature Bracelets

· Veggie matching games

· Nature-based building activities. Bouncy Houses, Vendors, Face painting and balloon twisting, Food, Fun, Fellowship, 4pm to 6pm DJ Kaooss of Kiss 101.9 FM will broadcast live, Candidates Forum at 6 pm and Greene Central Drumline/Band will perform after. On Saturday our guest entertainment will be Gospel Rapper The One Keon from Greensboro, Jakara University of Martial Arts, Kinston NC, Bluey the Clown and on Sunday our Guest entertainment will be SUAH African Dance Theatre Greensboro, and more. Come Join Us As We Celebrate Freedom, History, Legacy, Our Faith.

I am honored to share that I have completed the AAAM x HUSB Advanced Executive Training Program, in partnership with Howard University's School of Business, funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This journey has equipped me with invaluable insights into conscious leadership, strategic fundraising, and more, reinforcing my commitment to driving positive change within the nonprofit sector, especially as it pertains to African American-focused museums and cultural institutions. I am grateful for the knowledge shared, the connections made, and the inspiring discussions that have fueled my passion for our community's history and legacy. Here's to continuous learning and growing!

Wrapping up Day 3 of the AAAM x HUSB Training, funded by IMLS, and what a day it's been! So Thankful to be a part of an amazing TEAM and for this GREAT OPPORTUNITY.

Today’s sessions were centered on mastering leadership across multiple generations in the workplace and crafting effective executive development plans. These crucial skills are essential for today's diverse and dynamic organizational environments. A big thank you to all our participants and facilitators for making today not only educational but truly inspirational.
