School picture day is September 29.

This week I compared being at school to making a batch of cookies. We have added, stirred, and mixed the ingredients together. We have the butter, flour, sugars, eggs, soda, and salt. It's been great; but yet something has been missing. We don't have the chocolate chips. I've decided the Kindergarten are the chocolate chips. So on Tuesday our cookies will be complete. Yes, Snowville students are smart cookies and chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. Here's to Tuesday!

There will be a sign-up sheet for Kindergarten KEEP testing at registration. I am planning on doing the testing Monday (Aug. 30) and Tuesday (Aug. 31) afternoon starting at 12:10. The testing takes about 20-30 minutes. If you can't make these times please let me know, I can be flexible. We can make a time that will work for you and your child. I do have some trainings on Wed. and Thursday; but I'm sure we can make something work.

Registration for school will be tomorrow, August 13, 2021 from 9 - 11. Registration is online but computers and help will be available if needed. Teachers will be at the school. Students are welcome to come and see their teacher, classroom and most important choose a locker. See you there!

The pizza orders will be delivered tomorrow, May 5. They will need to be picked up and delivered promptly due to the necessity of keeping the pizzas frozen. They will be available for pick up around 12:00.

Thursday, April 29 at 1:40 Snowville Elementary will be having their Kindergarten round-up. This is for parents and 2021-2022 Kindergarten students. The parents can register for the coming school year. Parents should bring immunization records, birth certificate and proof of residency such as a power bill. (documentation that states the current address of the family)
The future Kindergarten students will meet with our Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Ritchie, on the front lawn. They will enjoy some activities while parents register them for the coming school year. The registration is all on line. Mrs. Webb will be available to help parents with this process. We have chorme books available for th registration. Masks will be required when entering the school.

November 24 is a minimum day. Students will be dismissed at 12:00. They will eat lunch at the school. Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:00 as usual.

Congratulations to all our 2020 Turkey Trot runners! Today these runners proved that they can do hard things!

Our annual Turkey Trot is Friday, November 6 at 12:30. Parents are invited to cheer all the runners. Kindergarten will be dismissed at 11:00. Parents are encouraged to bring their Kindergarten child back to participate in the event.
1st prize - turkey
2nd prize - pie
3rd prize - apples
2, 3, 4, and 5 run 1 mile. (4 times around the perimeter of the playground) 2 & 3 run together - 4 & 5 run together
Kindergarten runs 1/2 mile - 2 times around the perimeter

There will be a Flu Clinic at the school Oct. 19, 2020 from 2:30-4:30.
