Last month at the Daniel Unit, our inmates were given a truly special opportunity to participate in A Day with Dad. This meaningful event allowed fathers and their children to spend quality time together, creating memories through crafts, activities, laughter, and conversation.
For many of these dads, moments like these are priceless. The chance to bond with their children, share smiles, and simply enjoy being together serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of family and the relationships they cherish most.
Every participant valued this opportunity and embraced every moment spent with their child. Events like A Day with Dad help strengthen family connections, inspire hope, and create memories that will be treasured long after the day has ended.
