As Scurry County United Way closes its doors, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported our mission throughout the years. Your generosity, time, and belief in community collaboration have made a lasting impact on Scurry County.

While our organization is dissolving, the heart of our mission—supporting local programs and meeting community needs—continues through the incredible agencies we’ve been proud to partner with:
• Scurry County Museum
• Sparrows Nest
• Scurry County Ministerial Alliance
• Buffalo Trail Council, BSA (Boy Scouts of America)
• West Texas Children’s Advocacy Center
• Snyder Community Resource Center
• Gateway Family Services
• Cancer Services Network
• Scurry County 4-H
• Snyder Volunteer Fire Department

We encourage you to continue supporting these agencies and their missions directly. Each plays a vital role in strengthening our community and serving local families. Though Scurry County United Way’s chapter is ending, the spirit of giving and unity that has defined us lives on through these organizations and the people who believe in making a difference.

Scurry County United Way – Notice of Meeting to Vote on Dissolution

Notice is hereby given that Scurry County United Way will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at 2211 Avenue T, Snyder, Texas.

The purpose of this meeting is to review and vote on the proposed Plan of Dissolution of the organization, in accordance with applicable nonprofit laws and the organization’s bylaws. Members of the public are invited and may attend.
