Socorro County Sheriff’s Office along with NMSP D-11 attend a cross commission class with Navajo Nation PD. The class was a 2 day 16 hour class. Our office now has 14 Deputies cross commissioned with the Navajo Nation.

The Socorro County Sheriff’s Office will not contact you regarding a warrant or unpaid fines or jury duty via telephone. We have received reports of individuals calling from (575)835-0941, falsely claiming to represent our office and demanding payment.

Do not disclose personal information to unknown parties, particularly over the phone. Please contact our office immediately.
