Hello friends!

I need your help,

I'm working on touching up these adorable little twin tiles, but unfortunately the names have worn off over the years, and I can't make them out. I'd love to restore them with the correct names if possible.

Does anyone know whose names were originally on the tiles? If so, please leave a comment or send me a message. I'd appreciate any clues you can provide!

Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Soda Springs City Park (51 E. Second South) as we officially open these beautiful new courts and recognize the many sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners who made this project possible.

This project represents what can happen when a community comes together. What was once a worn-out and unsafe basketball court has been transformed into a modern recreation space that will serve residents of all ages for years to come.

Following the ceremony, stay and enjoy the first annual Pickleball Tournament and help us celebrate this exciting addition to our park!

We hope to see you there as we thank our supporters and celebrate another successful community improvement project.

A huge thank you to the 8th graders from Mr. Kimball's class, members of the Lions Club, and volunteers from the Friends of the Soda Springs City Park for helping clean up the Caribou CommUNITY Playground!

Our amazing volunteers worked hard to rake leaves away from the fence, clear dirt from sidewalks, clean tables, grills, and playground equipment, apply a fresh coat of paint and sparthane to the artwork, rehang many of the handprint tiles, and make several small repairs throughout the playground.

Their dedication and willingness to serve have helped keep this special community space looking beautiful and welcoming for everyone to enjoy. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and support. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

We're so excited to share that the new blacktop is down, and we're one step closer to completing our newest community project! 🏀🎾

These new courts will serve a dual purpose, providing space for both basketball and pickleball for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.

This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of A+ Contractors, Idaho Community Foundation, N A Degerstrom, the City of Soda Springs, Friends of the Soda Springs City Park, Modern Woodmen of America, Advantage Plus Credit Union, Idaho Central Credit Union, John & Marilyn Lee, and Larry and Kristen Simmons Family. Thank you for investing in our community and helping bring this vision to life!

We know this is going to be a challenge, but PLEASE HELP US KEEP EVERYONE OFF OF THE NEW BLACKTOP UNTIL THE PAINTING IS COMPLETED

Court striping is scheduled to be completed at the end of June, just in time for our 4th of July festivities. We are also planning a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 3 to officially open the new courts and kick off the Pickleball Tournament. 🛠️🐝 Join Us for Caribou Community Playground Maintenance Day! 🐝🛝

The playground will be closed TONIGHT as the Caribou Community Playground is getting a little TLC, and we’d love your help!

Join the Lion’s Club and the Friends of Soda Springs City Park for our 8th Annual Maintenance Day.

📅 Thursday, May 14th
🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Caribou Community Playground

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
✔️ Cleaning
✔️ Repairs & maintenance
✔️ General playground upkeep
🧤 Please bring if you can:
• Work gloves
• Leaf blowers
• Drills with charged batteries
• Shop vacs
• Extension cords
🌭 Hotdog dinner provided by the Lion’s Club after the work is completed!

ISO 2 shop vacs with an extension cord to borrow for a couple of hours this Thursday, May 7th at 1:30pm for Cardinal cleanup at the caribou CommUNITY Playground.
