For our March meeting we practiced wildland fire fighting tactics. We then got some of the new members comfortable fighting fire in our grass trucks.

Tonight our firefighters worked on Search & Rescue training. Our crews practice moving quickly, safely, and effectively to locate anyone who may be trapped even in low to no visibility.

During this training, our firefighters worked on:
Search patterns in low-visibility conditions
Communication and teamwork in tight spaces
Victim rescue techniques and safe removal
