The Solon Senior Center is a vibrant multi-service meeting location for active adults and seniors over the age of 60.

It offers a wide array of enrichment activities, as well as supportive services.

Need a ride to High Holiday services? STC can help! Senior Transportation Connection (STC), our partner for out-of-town transportation, is offering FREE rides to and from High Holiday services this September. Seats are limited, so reserve early!

Please note that payments for activities must be made within one week after you register at the Welcome Center. This policy helps us plan better and offer you the best possible experience. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you at your next activity!
As a continuing reminder, if you would like to register before receiving your newsletter in the mail, look for an SSC friend or family member that can ease your transition into online registration!

We traveled across the globe without leaving the Solon Senior Center! 🌎✨

A big thank-you to our own member Merryl Carlsson for sharing her knowledge, stories and insights about Sweden as part of our World in Your Backyard program. From Swedish culture and traditions to fascinating places and experiences, Merryl gave us a wonderful glimpse into this beautiful country.

❤️ Cooking Up Kindness! ❤️

Our SSC volunteers recently spent time at the Ronald McDonald House, preparing food and lending a helping hand to families who are going through an incredibly difficult time.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay for families whose children are hospitalized for extended periods—offering comfort, support and a home away from home when they need it most.

We’re so proud of our volunteers for giving their time, energy and compassion to help make a challenging journey just a little easier for these families. 🥰

Sip, Sway & Sing was a hit!

The dance floor was full, the music was pumping, and the smiles said it all! 💃🕺 A big thank you to DJ Dr. KD for keeping the energy high with an amazing mix of favorites that had everyone singing along and dancing the afternoon away.
From great music and good friends to plenty of laughter, our Sip, Sway & Sing Happy Hour was the perfect way to celebrate summer at the Solon Senior Center. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable afternoon!

What a wonderful way to celebrate America's birthday!

Our Senior Center was filled with patriotic spirit, laughter, music and smiling faces during our Fourth of July celebration! A special thank you to our very own Act II Singers for treating everyone to a fantastic performance of patriotic favorites that had the audience singing along and celebrating together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor our nation's independence and enjoy an afternoon of community, friendship and fun.
