🥬 What a way to wrap up National Volunteer Month!

Yesterday, our department heads and Senior Project students came together for one final act of service — and they made it count. 💪

Volunteering at the City of Solon Produce Market, they spent the day packing and distributing fresh food to over 250 seniors in our community. From lifting boxes to loading bags, everyone pitched in to make sure our neighbors had access to fresh, nutritious produce.

It's been a month of giving back, and this is the perfect reminder of what service truly looks like — leaders and students, side by side, making a real difference.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time this month. You are what makes Solon such a special community. 🧡

Due to the weather on its way, we are moving the City of Solon Earth Day event indoors, but the fun is still ON!

📍 NEW LOCATION: Solon Community Center, 35000 Portz Parkway
🗓 Saturday, April 25
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

While the location has changed, everything else remains the same!

You can still enjoy:
🌲 Free trees (while supplies last)
🥾 Guided hike – 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM with a free shuttle at Solon Community Center
