🚨 SCA DANCE STUDIOS CLOSED TODAY | AUGUST 27 🚨

Due to the water main break on Station Street, the SCA Dance Studios will be CLOSED today, Thursday, August 27.

Water to the building needs to be shut off while crews complete the repair. Without water and restroom access, we are unable to safely open the Dance Studios for classes.

All SCA Dance Studio activities scheduled for today are canceled. Watch for an email update to come in the near future from Jennifer, SCA Dance Coordinator.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as crews work to complete the repair. Please help us spread the word!

🚨 Would you know what to do if someone needed CPR?

The Solon Fire Rescue’s September 26 Heartsaver CPR/AED Class is almost full (one spot left), but there is still plenty of space available in the September 29 evening class!

This 2.5-hour class is open to the public and covers CPR for adults, children and infants, including Hands-Only CPR, mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-mask ventilation. Participants will also learn how to assist a choking victim and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

📅 Saturday, September 26 | 9 AM – 11:30 AM — ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT!
📅 Tuesday, September 29 | 6 PM – 8:30 PM — SPACE AVAILABLE
📍 Solon Fire Station #2 | 6320 SOM Center Road
💲 Fee: $30

PLEASE NOTE: Participants must have the physical strength necessary to perform CPR in order to attend.

Participants 13 years old and younger must have a parent/guardian register for and attend the class with them.

🚨 Movie in the Park | TOP GUN : Maverick is CANCELED TONIGHT 🚨

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast, tonight's Movie in the Park featuring Top Gun: Maverick has been CANCELED.

We were hoping Mother Nature would cooperate, but the forecast just isn't looking good for an outdoor movie tonight.
