Due to ongoing safety concerns, effective immediately, any fast "A" riders doing laps on the main track up front will be required to have one of these flags mounted on your machine. Slower riders need you to be visible at all times. Horns or other signaling devices will not be permitted to pass. Slower riders are complaining about being intimidated. Especially the little guys on the PW50's. Thanks and enjoy your park.

I would like to apologize to the individual who is blowing up my messenger and texting me late at night complaining that the sand track is not groomed.

I apologize that we had a blizzard five days ago.

I apologize that the frost is still coming up out of the ground.

I apoligize that conditions are still to wet to groom that track.

I apoligize that it's still March.

I apoligize that the front track did get groomed before the sand track because conditions up there allowed it.

I apoligize that hours were dedicated to clearing up the trails after the wind storm last week.

I apoligize that there are only so many hours in the day to get things done.

I apoligize that the sand track may not get groomed until next week.

Below are current wet conditions on the sand track. Pictures from this morning.

There is still a little frost coming up here and there but the park is pretty rideable at the moment. Since it's only mid February there has been minimal maintenance or grooming so ride with caution. Don't forget to put on your 2026 DNR registration stickers. Thanks and enjoy your park.

I was just informed by our park worker, Rick Ness, that he was able to groom the front track and the razor track and he says they are in excellent condition. The sand track still had quite a bit of moisture so that kinda limited how much he was able to do but says it's in pretty decent shape also. Trails are in great shape. Might be one of the last great weekends this fall so get out and enjoy your park.

This is a great race right here in Eastern Iowa. Challenging but fun course. Details on flyer. They even have a trail rider class if you don't want to race but want to ride somewhere new and cool.

if it looks too muddy, it probably is. Don’t get stuck. It may be the following day before a club member can get out there to help rescue your machine. We are always willing to help but we are not always available at the drop of a hat.

Our new bulldozer was dropped off at the park today. A Cat D11. The bad news is we have sadly figured out it consumes around 125 gallons of diesel per hour to operate. The good news is, we can groom the front track in about six minutes or level the entire park in 58 minutes.

Main track up front and sand track were groomed today. Perimeter trail groomed also. Fairly dry at the park right now and if we don't get much rain tonight, conditions should be really good tomorrow.

The park is open and stays open all winter. Due to winter conditions there is limited track or trail grooming so ride with caution. If you are out riding and see something that needs attention please message us and we will address it if conditions permit. Thanks and enjoy your park.

Someone recently removed and stole the no alcohol signs from the park. Just because the signs are gone, it doesn't change the law. New signs are on the way. The rule also applies to the parking lot. Alcohol and OHV's typically are not a good combination but another reason for the rule is if alcohol was permitted, we would not be able to get insurance. NO INSURANCE, NO PARK.
