NOPEC No one does more to lower your utility bills. We currently serve natural gas and electric customers in 19 counties and over 240 communities.

NOPEC (Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council) began in 2000 as the first northeast Ohio governmental opt out aggregation. We are a council of governments which means our community members are active in our how our organization is managed. Since 2001 we have saved our members hundreds of millions in cumulative energy savings and awarded over $28 million in energy efficiency grants. 📢 We have received reports of door-to-door solicitors posing as NOPEC employees in Mansfield.

As a reminder, NOPEC will NEVER come to your home for any reason. If someone claiming to be from NOPEC comes to your home and requests to see a copy of your utility bill or claims they need access to your meter, politely decline. It is a scam.

If someone knocks on your door posing as a NOPEC employee, please ask for a business card and call NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201 to report them.
