Tree Branch Pickup will be Wednesday Sept. 2nd. (Normally it is the first Monday of the month). Please have your branches by the curb by 7am. 🪾🪾

Labor Day week- Garbage and Recycling will be picked up Saturday
Sept. 12th, please make sure to have it out no later than 6am 🚛

As we celebrate Water & Wastewater Operators week this week, it's a great opportunity to say thank you to all those involved with the water tower project this summer. The water tower is back in service and doing its work to serve our city. Thank you to Viking Industrial's Rob Jongquist, Shelby Hall & their tower crews, and to Public Works Superintendent/Deputy Public Works Director Dave Richard's for leading our community through this project. Also, Thank you to everyone for your patience throughout this project. A special Thanks to Bridge Bank & Solon Retirement Village for dealing with all of the project activity. Water towers are more than a tank of water...they are beacon of that hometown pride in our hearts❤️

Congratulations to Susie Siddell on 20 Years as Solon City Clerk! What can we say....she is the sunshine in our day everyday, her heart is as big as Iowa, and kindness is her superpower. She makes this world better a place by just being herself, caring about others, and listening with a patient spirit. She loves her family, Solon Fire Department, and this amazing community. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts with all of us who call Solon home🩷
