LRS Update 10AM Sunday, June 14th

LRS resumed recycle pickup at 7AM this morning. Fox Ridge has been completed and they are currently working on Prairie Acres and Windmill Estates areas then will continue through the entire city.

All recycle will be picked up today. If you contacted the city about your trash cart missed, LRS will pickup today.

LRS Update 4 PM Saturday, June 13th

LRS has informed us that they will be picking up recycle today within the City of Solon and will be working until 8PM this evening. Any recycle not picked up today will be picked up tomorrow (Sunday 6/14).

If you live in the city limits and your trash was missed yesterday, email your address to [email protected] or to the city's FB messenger.

LRS will bring a support trash pickup truck tomorrow to those addresses on Sunday. Thank you

Garbage & Recycle Update 4PM on 6/12/26

LRS is finishing up garbage pick up this afternoon. Any recycle carts not completed today will continue tomorrow on Sat. 6/13/26.

The City of Solon is in active conversations with LRS management and our expectations for service has been clearly communicated.

LRS management will be attending the June 17th City Council meeting.

We share your frustrations and thank you for your patience as we address these concerns with LRS.

Please note that City-wide clean-up day is scheduled for August 8th at SRNA from 7-9AM.

Solon Water Tower Update 6/8/26
The curtain went up today as the contractors are sandblasting underneath to prepare the tower for the new paint. This step takes about four to five days of good weather to complete. Crews will be sandblasting from 8AM to 6PM and will work into the weekend as needed. Blessing for all of the crew as this is not a job for the faint of heart!
