Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People staff came together for a youth-led retreat, where our Youth Coalition leaders, Bella and Lupita, guided the day—sharing their work, initiatives, and the impact they’re making across our community.

It was a meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and experience our work through their leadership.

Thank you to Bella and Lupita for leading such a powerful day, and to for the beautiful setting and for making sure the PHP staff enjoyed all the Alisal had to offer!

Santa Ynez Valley Youth Coalition March Update:

This year our incredible youth leaders have been busy making a difference in the Santa Ynez Valley!

✔️ 5 peer-led cannabis education presentations
✔️ 3 opioid awareness presentations
✔️ 3 community service activities supporting our local community
🎉 And an end-of-year celebration trip to Universal Studios!

We’re so proud of these young leaders for using their voices to educate, support, and strengthen our community. 👏
